You know it's talent when she's singing about a carefree cowboy-life but it felt like a luxurious horse-riding noble story telling

moonshane.

The way she sings the song like she owns it makes it sound like Lil Nax is the one who just made a cover of this version into a pop one.

Feels like I’m living in 1920s New Orleans. I’m living for it honestly.

The power she held during that pause, absolute. She dropped the mic, turned and looked, sauntered back to the mic, adjusted herself, then proceeded to absolutely slay the remainder of the song. She did not miss a beat. Iconic.

This is what got me into PMJ in the first place: take a popular, trendy song and give it a drastic makeover in an entirely different decade or style. Don't ever stop!

"got no stress, I been thru all that"....Ok. Sis. I FELT that. This is what happens, when you add the seasoning of life, and experience to some Old Town Road. This is everything.

Can we just take a moment to admire how smooth all of her location transitions were? It was clear that even though it looked like a task to go from standing to sitting to standing from one mic to another back to the other... she knew exactly how long it would take and exactly what her lyrics were and where her timing was ahead of time and had time to play it out smoothly. Not sure if I'm explaining this right, but tell me you could've done all that as smoothly and seamlessly as she did? That's a legend right there indeed. BRAVO

every time I come back to this song, I just can't help by admire how she just owns everything, she's got THAT voice, that confidence, no wonder she's such a legend in Blues, no-one can touch her.

This is the first time I realized this song has, like, actual lyrics besides the chorus. I mean, this brings out the best of what lyricism this song has. It's amazing.

you guys should do a noir/ smooth jazz version of the 1994 spider-man theme with a saxophone instead of an electric guitar just a suggestion.
