All the unimaginable death and destruction that occurred on Oct 7 and continues to this day, as depicted daily in the news, can be laid at the door of PM Netanyahu. In order to remain in power he chose to align himself with the fanatical West Bank settler movement which required concentrating the IDF in that area. Thus when so many Israelis were being raped and murdered in the South, the IDF was no where to be seen until it was too late.
No less important is the fact that numerous members of the IDF observer teams stationed along the border fence repeatedly reported that there was suspicious activity occurring near the Gaza side of the border fence but the higher levels of the IDF chain of command repeatedly refused to act on or take seriously the eye witness reports of IDF border guards that there was imminent danger growing near the border.
Netanyahu will go down in the history of the State of Israel as the man whose hands are dripping with the blood of countless innocent Jewish Israelis. A lifetime in prison is hardly sufficient punishment for all his crimes, both political and moral. Indeed a sad specimen of Humanity.
