that referee needs sacking and the rules need changing. it is insane that he was hell bent on blowing the whistle as soon as eze took the freekick. on another note, wharton must be the most overrated england player right now. he’s not even as good as 45 years old will hughes. he gave the ball away countless times if his name was fred you would hear about it. 😂

First weekend and 4 major incidents that never were or should never have been. Broken leg that should have been avoided a head butt that wasn’t a goal that was but wasn’t given and a penalty that was rightly given then wrongly over ruled .

This is why I stopped watching the Premier League, way to many poor referees in the top flight now. Var slows the game down way to much and Eze's free kick was a brilliant goal that obviously should have stood. This is the reason why so many men watch four minute highlights on YouTube now instead of having to sit through a whole game. It's not fair on the players either as all the momentum is taking out of their performance with a five to seven minute VAR check.
If players can get yellow and red cards, then why shouldn't ref get put in the sin bin for having a very poor game. Why not ban a ref for a game as a form of chastisement which will either improve him or expose the fact that he's not good enough for the level of the PL.
