Can also confirm making giant snowballs has the same effect. Was making one on the way home from university one time, crossed through a park, ended up with 4 other people helping me to move a snowball a good 3 to 4 feet tall.

If you want to try this yourself, just make sure to keep it as a sphere. Mine ended up more like a cube after a point.
