Yeah, i had no idea about those drain plugs for the cabin air filter. had a change my cabin air filter a few times, and lots of leaking inside. Glad it is now cleaned. The window trick was also amazing.

I just got a 2005 Ford Mustang and will hopefully pick it up tomorrow! I had no idea those little rubber pieces came out so easily, so I'll have to check them to make sure they're clear of any debris. I also can't wait to figure out if I can change the dash color in my model as well. Love the video!!

Oh My Gosh... It's 3:45 AM... (and, I Just had a Pacemaker put in at my Cardiologist about 12 hours ago... LOL)... I saw this clip and HAD to go outside and check those drains. The car is a 2005 Mustang GT... So, it's 20 years old... Both sides were Horribly Plugged! I took the rubber drains out, and wound up taking my water hose and just ran the water down through the cowling. Then while the water was running through it, I used my fingers and reached up into the holes and Pulled the dead crap out. It only took about 5 minutes to clean out Both sides. THANK YOU for Sharing these tips:~) I traded a 1972 F100 that I had done a complete Off Frame Restoration to about 12 yrs ago. I traded about 2 months ago. Who ever had this Mustang S197 NEVER maintained it. I'm slowly resurrecting it. It's my New Project:~)

New fan here as a female owner of a 08 mustang will be doing cabin air filter this weekend that I'm off and cleaning those water drains

I have a 2006 Ford Mustang GT with approx. 72, 000 miles on it. I keep it in good shape, inside and out. In between drives, I keep it in the carport, covered by a waterproof and critter-proof tarp. I get the cabin air filter changed once a year, and the engine air and fuel filters changed once a year. All synthetic oil and filter changes once every 3 months, tire rotations done every 6 months. Recently had a detailing shop install a ceramic ion package, and the car looks great, no more swirl marks in the paint. I am doing my best to keep my pony as long as I can. Those newer Stangs don't have the classic mid 1960s look, and they are grossly overpriced.

You can also turn off you seat belt chime, and recalibrate your gas pedal...
