Late 2000s, early 2010s were the good years.
I swear it seema like ever aince 2016 things begna going downhill. Kids these days will never know what it was like.

I miss the "ugly" times when people cared less about their damn clothes and looks. There wasn't a tiktok, there wasn't very much any social media like it is now. These times had soul in it, people talked to each other.
Now no one cares about anything, people watch other people doing stupid dances, seems like everyone's obsessed with money, fame and beauty, and I know people did the same years prior, but now it's truly catastrophic.
Now people are more insecure, less social, less empathic, less smart and heavily influenced by bad things.
They're full of hatred towards people with different beliefs, they "cancel" people for making the smallest mistake and don't give others even a chance. Moreover, they're obsessed with putting a label on everything and they're aggressive/defensive.
Society as a whole now is a bully we know too much about bc of too much social media exposure and letting wrong people voice their venomous ideologies, lies and hate

I remember being 16 with my best friends and buying tickets for the Lorax just so we could sneak into this. The door guard wandered off, so we slipped in. Went to one of the upper rows and waited for the lights to go down. Right before they did an employee came in to check people and spotted us like a hawk. He made us exit, so we ended up going to see The Lorax. It was pretty damn good. Little did we know our lives would be like this 2-9 years in the future.
