🚘FIRST MOSKVICH 2140 🚗 RARE SOVIET CAR / TIME CAPSULE

Early Moskvich 2140. Soviet passenger car, which is better than VAZ 2103. But not more expensive. And this one is also the first year of release in 1976.

We are looking for old cars, unusual, abandoned and rare retro cars, we do reviews, tell tricks and technical characteristics. In general, we are creating the largest archive of videos about the Soviet automobile industry, the history of USSR cars, and the history of the Soviet Union in general.

I remember my father was looking at cars in 1974. He tried the Citroens, Fords, Opel, Lada and a Moskvich. One dealer had Lada and Moskvich, we tested the Moskvich first, it was terrible, in a not very sharp turn it screeched the tires all the way through, it's a long time ago but I still remember the harsch ride. The Lada felt almost like a Mercedes compared.... Anyway he bought a Ford in the end.

A hansom car..In the UK the new moskvich was never offered.When the 412 was discontinued we ended up with the Lads.

I just discovered your fine channel the other day and have been watching all your videos. As a boy who grew up in the fifties into the seventies with the Cold War, Soviet cars were something we only saw here in Texas in car magazines, being objects of ridicule for their primitive mechanicals and ugly bodies. I was, in my younger years, a semi-pro photographer. I was always fascinated by socialist-era Zenit cameras along with the other Soviet brands, and the East German Exakta cameras that were hopelessly obsolete compared to West Germany, much less Nikon, Canon, and several other great Japanese brands. I'd sure like to see your take on Soviet cameras if that's an area of interest for you.
