Is it possible for a QGIS user, to import a shapefile into a table stored in MySQL database, using only the copy and paste commands, inside the Map Canvas?
Yes, it is possible and it is a very easy task to perform and you do not even need to use any plugin. However, there is a very important detail to keep in mind, and it’s the character set of the shapefile attribute table that must match with the character set that the MySQL database are using. If this parameter is fulfilled, the task is performed in only few seconds/minutes, depending on the capacity of your PC.
Let's see in this video, step by step, how to accomplish the task.

Realicé el tutorial pero al final cuando vuelvo a cargar la tabla de MySQL no me aparecieron los polígonos, sólo está la información de los atributos, sabes a que se debe?
