The Indian Space Research Organisation's National Remote Sensing Centre on Thursday released before and after satellite images showcasing the extent of impact.

The landslide swept away over 86,000 square metre of area and flowed for over 8 km.

It was nature's fury. These incidents happen once in a while. Its unfortunate that so many lives were lost. One can't blame anyone for any reason. For development huge adjustments are made not only in villages but also in cities. All political parties are the same. They make hay while the sun shines.
