Dale, you rocked the year 1970.
I love the sound of early 70s hard rock. A thoughtful listener left a boat load of cool info.
Looking back to yesteryear, many iconic bands albums, songs, riffs were born from 1970 thru "72.
Leaps and bounds from the psych of the 60s to hard rock/prog rock of the 70s were made in those three amazing years.

Band was originally from Minneapolis/St. Paul MN as The Underbeats. They headed for the West Coast in the late 1960's, were renamed Gypsy, became the house band at the famed Whiskey a Go-Go, and signed a deal with Metromedia Records, the label associated with singer Bobby Sherman. Gypsy made a big splash debut with a double-disc gatefold long player, which contains the two-part extended version of Gypsy Queen. Leader Rico Rosenbaum wrote most of the band's material, sang lead and played rhythm guitar. He died in 1979 and member Jim Johnson passed in 2019.

Hello, Dale. Hey buddy you recently said records in the cave are dwindling down. Do have more early 70s rock like this? If you do, please post them. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to hear them. Just like 60s garage bands these bands from the early 70s fell through the cracks
Only a suggestion, Brother D. Ty
