27-29k is….hmmmm….not sure any manufacturers will get away with that really. Giving the cost of living these days, everybody looking for value for money and you can spend less and get similar tech levels. However, it is really pretty!!

I think the problem is that it's being compared with other EV's. The focus for Honda was not to make the most efficient EV, but an efficient urban vehicle. I've test driven the Honda e, and I'm very close to hitting the purchase button. As a commuter, or for basically any daily task or the weekend cabin trip - it's perfect, (well as long as you know how to pack efficiently and you don't need a stroller).
Comparing it to the eGolf, e-Up (or the other twins) it is a way different comfort and quality in the Honda e. It feels like a normal everyday car, built to last. Unfortunately a lot of new EV brands feels like something that's made to last a few years, just like a laptop or a phone, not a car. I'm REALLY impressed by Honda. I must admit that it could've had some more range and been better, but honestly it doesn't matter for the market it's meant for.

I also belive that it isn't the time to sit around and wait for EV's to get more cost effective, because the prices are only going to rise. Just try to find a decent car under £30.000 in the next couple of years - it's going to be difficult.

Always liked the styling but have only ever seen 1 on the road once. Shame about the miles

Lads! Welcome back! Where have you been? Summer 2021? Enough said. Sorry but the Honda e is for smug so and so's! Not as dreadful as a Tesla [nothing could be!] Example: a retired couple, an id3 [VW's dreadful attempt.] and a Honda e. The definition of smugness! And the irony, have covered over the lawn to park them! Eco? my ***! As you say Mini Cooper Se, Pug 208e or even VX Corsa all make for more sense than this Hampstead trolley. Honda can do better. Good to have you back!

The Honda E is now able to use the Tesla Supercharger network

Can I use a Tesla Supercharger to charge my electric car?
The short answer: yes, as long as your EV has CCS.

The long answer: the different types of chargers can get confusing, so we've pulled together an A-Z list of electric cars with CCS so all you have to do is look and see if your car is on there.

Note: cars like the Nissan LEAF with CHADEMO won't be able to use the Supercharger network

200k miles : Where are you getting this number from guys.. There is a Tesla model 3 out there with over 250k miles on the first battery pack with hardly any degradation and while I hear the concern, it's worth noting that a lot of this comes from problems with earlier models of E.V.'s such as 1st and 2nd gen. Leafs.... Please try to temper your comments with actual facts instead of scaremongering guys !!

"Maybe we are massive idiots ... " Nope I don't think you are, just don't use Engenie charging stations, they are rubbish and quite often fail when you are plugging in ;-)

Incredible ignorance about the battery lifetime. They aren’t scrap after 200k mi, just read up on Tesla batteries. Even the worst designed car batteries, early Leaf batteries, still work for big miles and then they have a second life as stationary power storage
