this is actually a dress rehearsal recording, the mic of james was off in the broadcasted version but it was equally amazing and even more intense as they shared the mic more and gaga made a key change in the last chorus and james kicked the useless mic, a testamemt of how good musicians they are despite the difficulties

I just realize that Gaga's garment is made as a collage of the classic albums. The Hammer of KEA, The Lady of AJFO, The Cross from MOP... Really cool detail.

This was the dress rehearsal - the actual performance lost a mic and Gaga went over and let her mic be his mic also. I was impressed how smoothly that went. I was also impressed with how she jumped down in heels.

I'm primarily a metalhead, but I recognize Gaga's power, skill, and even acting chops nowadays too. She is a Singer with that capital S. I don't care for her politics, but whatever. LoVe that riff which begins at 4:03, and is repeated for the solos, damn. Yes, this version was very close to the original, with the addition of Lady Gaga of course. Most Metallica tunes will cause you to do that, not sit still in your seat. 😎🤘
