I feel like what made the prom scene so iconic and impactful was not necessarily the pig blood itself but the moments leading up to it.This dance, Carrie feeling like a normal person apart of society, the slow motion of her walking up the stage smiling with tears in her eyes. The build up to the horror was just incredibly done.
