I play Galleons quite often, and I believe you did not represent the game correctly. If I were online at the time I could have told you how to play, although I was not. Galleons is not dead, life support is a better description. As long as someone keeps a server alive people will join. There are various other recurring players as well. Calling the game dead is inaccurate. I could talk about the player count for a while, but generally, no one cares. Although considering quite a few of the games in this video aren't dead you probably don't care about accuracy.

The treasure tool itself is not treasure, It's what you use to dig up the treasure and transport it. When steering the ships, tap the controls don't hold, they toggle. Once to start and once to stop. You did not appear to be doing this in the video which is why you were turning so slowly, although it does appear you might have figured it out eventually. The Queen Annes Revenge has the fastest turning rate in the game. You also don't want to use the cannon near the wheel as it encourages people to shoot your wheel. Use the lower deck cannons, labeled heavy cannons, they are stronger and shoot farther. The destruction of the ships is due to the weld bug, it causes the ships to basically dissolve in the area they are hit. This bug started earlier in February and has been quite annoying as you noticed.

The page for Galleons on the Roblox wiki has been updated recently, it has more in-depth information on the game should anyone want it. It's not perfect yet, but it's good enough for most people.
