Not familiar with the game but looked up a playthrough just to find what the Ferryman voice lines were like. It actually seems like a fun twist on the concept/character and wasn't overkill.
That being said "Just because I don't have skin, doesn't mean I don't have feelings" probably clued him in that the character was a tad different from his imagination.

She knew that you were doing a Charon-type ferryman, and having an upbeat YT voice for that is honestly one of my favorite concepts for that kind of character. The one in Hades just groans, which is also hilarious, but I like the idea of a super chipper Charon tbh.
