Right!??! GoodTimes &🎶 Music! This was one if my 1st 45 records! Old~OldSch.MyDad built Roadsters in the late 1940's-early1950s.He built whole car(s)himself- frame up- engines &running gear~said you need know your car very well.He won1st place almost every time he raced. As a girl child age7-8 I was learning& helped him for2years rebuilding the entire engine of an old mid1950's Ford station wagon, which we promptly traveled in (pulling a old camper) across the U.S.from SF-Calif & back.Visiting family in Utah-Iowa- Neb.& historical places on E.Coast- D.C. down to Florida where the grasshoppers were size of a man's hand ( G-Paw said they used them for bait- (I'm asking what were you trying to catch!?!)10days in Florida-it rained hot💧water!! Then across South~see the Gulf- MS.-Texas- (6)wks total summer of 1968. Put Approx 6000 miles on that old rebuilt1950's FORD!💚!only thing that broke was the air -conditioner coming LOL thru 100°plus in Arizona! Dad not happy at that point.I say Trip was a SUCCESS!
Until computers were put in cars I was able to do most of the repairs on my own vehicles & taught many women not fear their cars & ✔️ the simple oil, trani-Anti freeze -etc themselves LOL~while I wrked yrs as a Pump-Jockey in a real service station~Not just a gas/convince store. 🚘 My 2 daughters still do most of normal maintenance on their own cars. & they love most all music from previous generations.
