This comment is for everyone who doesn't know how a launchpad works.

Firstly, The song does not play automatically because it got sampled onto the buttons, which he is pressing. He is also pressing some buttons more than 1 time and that is called Multisampling. Don't know what sampling is? Well let me explain it to you. Sampling is like cutting a piece of cake, except you cut the song. So he cut the song onto 4x 64 buttons, which leads to the song getting cut into 256 samples aka pieces of cake. And these "samples" get played one by one in the right order so that it leads to the finished song again. On every button is a piece of the song he has to memorize and press in the right order in order to play the full song.

Well now that you know how a launchpad works lets go to the lights.

The lights are for the show for you to make it watchable and not just sit there and watch someone press buttons without visual effect. Understandable right? And as i mentioned earlier i told you about multisampling.

Now that you already have learned what sampling is, i can explain what multisampling is. But maybe you already got an idea of what it is. As the name already says its making 2 samples or more getting played one after one on the same button the more you press it. That way he can save space for other parts of the song, or just for making it a little easier.
