Watching solar eclipse can damage your eyes is not a myth!

Bright sun does damage the cells in your retina / eyes.
Retina doesn’t have pain receptors. So it’s hard to know at that time if you are actually been afflicted with eclipse blindness.

This blindness has no remedies.. besides waiting if the patients regains vision. And this might take minimum 3 months .

You can experience Solar eclipse using a solar glasses, which blocks approximately 99% of light raya .

Because of it being too bright your retinas will burn causing black spots in your vision or blindness. How does it burn your retinas you might ask? *Well the sun is so tense even a small sliver of exposed light is enough to cause irreversible damage. When a person looks directly to the sun, solar radiation hits the retinas, triggering a series of chemical reactions that can result in damage, or even destruction in the photoreceptor in the eyes.*

I kinda experienced partial discoloration in my eyes temporarily when i stared at the sun through a reflection from my black watch, it wasn't hurting my eyes so i stared for a while, i look away and realize i see yellow in some parts of my eyes, i pinpointed where ut was and it was the spot where i was staring at the sun, i panicked till the yellow color went away after 6 minutes

During totality you can look safely but ONLY during totality. When the diamond ring effect shows up as totality ends, you should look away

So the damage of solar eclips and normal sunlight are the same but the difference is that you don't feel the damage when staring at the eclips while on normal sunlight, you are forced to look away because of too muh light?

Did I get it right?
