When we released this video three years ago, it instantly sparked controversy as we presumed it would. So to clear up a lot of the controversy, please read this comment!

To begin, we admit this video is probably one of the most poorly produced videos we've ever made. Though some reasons were valid, the video itself was not put together well, and we apologize for some of the controversy it caused.

First of all, this video was intended to show the advantages the PlayStation had over the Xbox 360, not to completely condemn the XBOX 360. In fact, most of our channel's producers have owned an Xbox 360 and loved it! When we first produced this video we intended to release a video showing a list of Xbox 360 advantages, shortly after, but the production of that video fell through and we never ended up releasing the video.

Secondly, many statistics listed in this video are now void, and have changed over the course of the past three years. For instance Xbox did a tremendous job at lowering their failure rate since the failure rate GameStop survey was conducted, which was used as a statistic in this video.

Thirdly, many new exclusives have released for both consoles since this videos release, such as Titanfall, Halo 4, The Last of Us, etc. Both Xbox and PlayStation had terrific exclusives during the previous console generation. And there were also many improvements in PlayStation Move and Kinect, rendering the need for an updated review on exclusives and motion-based games.

Fourthly, the "better graphics" was very poorly explained. We tried to make it simpler for the average viewer to understand by simply stating that the blue-ray capabilities of the PS3 is what statistically proved the PS3's edge, when in reality, that isn't quite the case. Although the amount of storage on blue-ray discs leaves room for more textures to be installed, potentially giving PlayStation more to work with in terms of graphic quality, the real debate comes down to the graphics processing unit. However, when reviewing this component, we're sure you'll still come to the same conclusion. PS3 has more dedicated video memory on the GPU, whereas the Xbox 360 shares its RAM with system memory as well. PS3 still has a slight edge on bandwidth.

We also apologize for the poor comparison in the "Better Graphics" section of the video. Looking back, we highly regret comparing Uncharted 3 to Halo Reach. Our thought process at the time was that we should compare two games optimized for each system's hardware giving each console a chance to show off their power, but we realize now they're two completely different games, and to compare graphics, we should use ONE cross-console game. We apologize for the controversy this stirred.  

And lastly, we're sorry for the poor audio quality of this video. At the time, we never thought our channel would grow this far and reach so many people. We weren't receiving any payment through YouTube, and the channel was just a hobby. We couldn't afford a microphone so we used a text-to-speech application, which didn't turn out too professional. If you tune into our channel now, though, you're sure to find plenty of good quality videos and there are more to come so stay tuned. :)

Why I don't own an Xbox and wouldn't want to:
1.) More six-year olds playing Call of Duty and GTA which is horrible because they can't handle dying even once.
2.) You have to PAY for Xbox Live? Oh hell no! The six-year olds, mentioned above, probably beg for that money from their moms instead of their own money.
3.) Batteries too? Are you serious?! Those things are like $14 for ten of them! And if you buy four rechargable batteries batteries for $20, you need to spend $20-$30 MORE just for the charger.
4.) Red Ring of I've had my PS3 for YEARS and never had system failure problems!
5.) When the Kinect has a Hardcore Shooter Game and a controller that looks and works like a gun, we'll talk (As mentioned in the video)
6.) Names: Really? Xbox ONE? You couldn't make up a cooler name? "Durr What should we name the new Xbox?" "Errrr I don't know... Oh! The first Xbox was just called "Xbox", So, we should name this one, Xbox ONE!" "Durr that's brilliant!" You shoulda just started off with Xbox One instead of torturing us with that in 2013!

And before you say: "But the PS4 requires a card to play online too!"
Yeah, but the PS4 looks fancy, has way more cool, free games, and the graphics are just deadly amazing, even with the free games!

PlayStation is much better than Xbox because of the games. PlayStation has created some of the greatest games and series of all time: Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, Infamous, The Last of Us, Uncharted, Crash Bandicoot, Demon's Souls, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus - and the list goes on. What does Xbox have? Gears of War and Halo. The list stops there.

Fanboys are still raging about eight-year-old game console superiority? Really. The PS3 isn't "better" than than the 360, nor is the 360 better than the PS3. They both have their advantages and disadvantages, they both have about equal things that make them really great, but also both have things that... well, aren't so great. The same thing goes for the Wii, and even the PC. All consoles have pros and cons. Stop arguing over which is better and just enjoy your goddamn games. We're all gamers, are we not?

I've never really been a graphics sort of person but when i played the Uncharted series I was astonished at how amazing everything was and if the graphics were anything less than what they were then the experience wouldn't quite be the same

If I ever hear the argument ''PS3 has free online multiplayer so it's better than Xbox'', I might beat someone up. Free multiplayer is STUPID, as cheaters are barely punished (they can instantly make a new account in less than 5 minutes and come back to cheat on PSN) and the servers are absolute garbage, as they are barely supported. I am glad Sony made the PS4 PSN Pay-to-play. They really saved their franchise.
