Broken brake line and DIY quick fix

Today on DIYWILLY my brake line ruptured while driving. Luckily no one was hurt. Now I had to figure out how to get it home. Here is my quick fix that gave me 3 wheels with brakes..lol I worked I got it home. Née parts are ordered. See you all soon. Thanks for watching.

Lol done this a few times worst thing I ever had to do was drive an old Datsun 100 miles home with a screw driver when the shifter come apart

Had a 04 hyundai, the brake line broke at the left caliper. I didn't have tools or the time fix it. I ripped the brake line all the way up to the abs. To see which one it was. Got the nipple welded for that line worked perfectly with three brakes.

Just bypass it with a bolt like put a bolt to block the brake fluids from leaking.

My pops told me to do this after I already had AAA tow my car home and they only cover 5 miles and my home was 9 miles away! Tell me why the AAA rep told me it was $7 er mile extra after 5 miles and my home was 9 miles away but the tow truck driver charged me $42 extra ? I actually gave him a $50 and told him to keep the change even tho I knew he got over on me!!!😮

Just barely did this. Purchased a new car and the previous owner didn’t correctly install the akebono sport brake lines, of course causing the brake line to get destroyed rubbing on the tire….

Funny story, I have a rust bucket and the muffler fell off while I was driving, right on the brake line. So my car cut its own brakes.
