One thing dot and you should look at with disc brakes is rust on the rotor. If you have a rotor staring to look rusty, that brake is not functioning properly and needs to be repaired immediately. This is an OOS criteria with DOT, and can cause a potentially deadly brake failure. Thanks, and drive safe.

I’m about to take my driving test for my CDL in 2 weeks and the truck that I’m going to use has air brake disc and I’m not sure how much I will have to inspect in the brake disc can you help me telling me the most important things that I’m can check in this brakes??🙏

Do those disk calipers need lubricant? I’ve seen no grease ports.
