If you want to conture your lips, only use darker coverage on areas you want to look more sunken in. You need dark AND light areas to create an effect when conturing. I conture under the middle of my bottom lip only, it makes my lower lip look plumper because it looks like it's casting a shadow.

I think this hack is for our paler sisters to have an illusion of fuller lips. But Darcei always slays her make up. So pretty

I’m confused what did the lip contouring actually do? Your lips were beautiful to begin with. Wouldn’t they have still looked like that with just the red lipstick. I’m lost guys 😂

The thing I don’t understand about these makeup hacks is that they’re essentially just a bunch of different methods of doing the same thing because you pretty much end up with the same results every time for the most part. So it’s like “okay so here’s a list of ways you can do it, which one will you do today?”
I could be wrong though cause I don’t wear makeup. 🤷🏻♀️

You always look amazing! But I think this "hack" only works because the lip contour gets blended so much that it just disappears. It doesn't really make a difference, not even on OP

"you should all try this" or maybe not, e.g. a girl with a really small/short forehead shouldn't necessarily contour it. u gotta find out what works best for your facial features n leave it at that
