This how i used to string when i was a beginner. ... now i string the locking way the way martin guitar has it on their channel with least slag

On the wound strings IMO that's too many wraps. You only 3.

After attaching the strings to the bridge, reach into the sound hole to ensure that the ball ends are securely in place and touching the bridge plate. Giving them a tug is not always sufficient.

Any reason I couldn’t change the tuners locking keys on an acoustic? I haven’t seen too many. They make it much faster to change strings.

Question: I put new strings on my Guild M240 Troubadour and when I play the open B-string, there is a "ting" tone similar to a cheap, tin cymbal. That sound wasn't there before I changed my strings, and adjusting the truss rod did not correct it. Looking for some solutions. Thanks.

1 1/2 tuner lengths is plenty. This is why Sweetwater doesn't do any set-ups on any guitar for me.

I just restrung my acoustic guitar with electric guitar strings. They don't sound as bright as acoustic strings but MAN is it sweet having 9's on an acoustic guitar!!

This video skipped all kinds of stuff. You have to lick the fretboard for good measure, you MUST remove all the tuners and put them on in different locations so the government can’t track you. You have to fill the sound hole with expanding foam insulation! Can’t believe they skipped that!
