My dad passed away in 2011. He wasn't famous, but he was a good man. I miss him every day.

Your videos always touch me deeply. We lost my dad over 20 years ago but my 92 year old mother still lives in their house, walks 2 miles a day, rain or shine, does her own cooking, house cleaning and cuts the grass. She is amazing !

So many memories here. I watched Doctor Who on PBS when I was growing up, so thank you for including Nicholas Courtney and Elisabeth Sladen. I never knew the Empire Carpet Man's real name, but I still remember the "588-2300" phone number. The loss of Dan Wheldon was so sad. I enjoyed Family Circus when I was young. And of course, Harry Morgan and James Arness.

Many of those mentioned here lived well into their 80s and 90s. Compare that to the ages of those listed in the obituaries of the 1960s, when most died much younger, and someone living to be 90 was a rarity.

One other left out: hair metal performer Jani Lane, lead singer of Warrant and Saints of the Underground. He died on August 11, 2011 at age 47.

I remember Roberts Blossom from the old soap opera, Another World where he played the villainous Sven Petersen.
Also Cliff Robertson as Shame the criminal cowboy in Batman.

Thank you for this video. Thank you for allowing us time to read each person's description. Other channels do them so fast that you have to keep pausing to be able to read the information.

The first woman they show Anne Francis, I looked her up she got lung cancer in 2007 she quit smoking 20 years before that in her 50s.
But she's still got lung cancer 20 years after quitting, and then 4 years later died of pancreatic cancer.
The point of me bringing this up is, that you are 70% more likely to die of pancreatic cancer if you smoke cigarettes.
And that pancreatic cancer is a horrible painful death, ... it is of the utmost important to quit smoking right now if you smoke.😮😢

The cartoonist Bil Keane (Family Circus), had only, one 'L', in his name. He always said, it was 'cause when he was young, his father "knocked the other L", outta his name, through the seat of his pants.
