I just think if I have a iron core, most of the flux are suppose to pass the core not goes in to the air, so the total flux should not change that much m if the cross section A is same everywhere in the core path, the I suppose to see B is same everywhere.

Hi Martin, the B in the core and air gap based on the magnetic circuit equation are supposed to be same or similar right ? or at least in the core, B should be same everywhere right ? but based on the magnetic line in the simulation, it seems more near air gap, the B reduce a lot in the core. what is the cause except the fringing? As I think most of the flux should remain in the core, and if the cross section is same then B should be same everywhere in the core right ?
