Here's some actual numbers for a properly built test:
Weakpoint Crit w/ Double Weak Point Mods

Piercing - 1.88mil

Afterglow - 1.75mil

Applying Crit Factor

Piercing - 1.88mil x 0.886 = 1.67mil average

Afterglow - 1.75mil x 0.996 = 1.74mil average

As you can see, afterglow is objectively better.

It's a decent test, obviously afterglow having 1 less dmg mod makes it a bit iffy but most tests have piercing winning by AT LEAST 6% up to 12% so 8-9% is going to be the ballpark without hyper optimization, not sure about all these whining people commenting not even understanding how hailey's 4th skill works, just ignore those idiots tbh.

If you put an elemental mod instead of stabilizer you will obviously see less of a gap but eh, PL is the winner, if that matters then it matters, thats it.

What in the world are those mods... Concentrate support ammo and concentration stabilizer? You either kill the boss in a few snipe bullets, or its a big boss like glut where a Greg gun build would have been better so an extra sniper bullet or two never matters. Also your damage doesn't line up with most other YouTube's testing at all lol. You're basically the only person to have that big of a difference between PL and afterglow. Curious! Meui had a difference of less than 100k between the two. Go try his mods and get proper reactors for your next test

U test dmg different on two weapon but debuff on boss is different.... that make ur test is not precise. Ty for test anyway

Would this make afterglow stronger after ult on cooldown? Due to 4.5 crit dmg and 100% crit rate.
