Louis I’m almost done with Sonny west’s solo book and will send to you with Lamar’s book. But wanted to mention that he said Elvis was very much opposed to dating married women because he didn’t approve of Dee Stanley and that his father got with her before her divorce. In my opinion makes it that much worse that Priscilla broke up a marriage as did mike stone

Hi, Louis, it's Kate, on catch up as usual. For all Mike Stone's righteousness, would he have gone off with her had she not been Elvis's wife? Yes, we agree Priscilla was beautiful, no question, but I think being Elvis’s wife had more to do with her successes right across the board. There are many beauties, but not with the Presley name. Mike Stone’s head was turned, in my opinion, because of who she was, and she pursued him relentlessly, like she does with everything she wants, and yeah, he would have been flattered, the lengths she went to just to be with him. I think he was also tempted by the lifestyle Priscilla could offer, although eventually I’m not so sure he enjoyed the constant invasion into his private life, which for Priscilla, that’s what she wanted – fame, fortune and admiration. And Francine, she was really pretty and from what I've learned, Francine was beautiful inside and out, can the same be said about Priscilla? She has lived a charmed life thanks to Elvis, a life of luxury, but she wanted more, much more, and as you said, she got it. It’s just a pity that Elvis and Lisa-Marie had to suffer in the process. Priscilla always has and always will come first in her life. And in my opinion as I've said before Priscilla had an agenda from the start. She knew Elvis wasn’t for her pretty early on, I think. Elvis was way too deep for Priscilla, way too spiritual, reading books and of course the bible, learning different subjects etc. Priscilla found all that boring; she wanted excitement, to be out there and enjoy the Hollywood lifestyle and to meet other men without having to hide it. Priscilla said herself sex was the most important thing. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not blaming Priscilla for being that way, that’s her right, just because she’s a woman it’s frowned upon and I admire women who pursue their own dreams and goals, but not the way she achieved them.
She didn’t do it all on her own and is still living off the Presley name to this day. This tag she has of being ‘the great businesswoman’ I’m not so sure about. As for her feelings for Mike Stone, perhaps it was lust, who knows, they did last a few years but again, was Priscilla faithful, did she have much restraint when it came to satisfying her passion for sex? Right after giving birth to Lisa-Marie being with another man, I think we can safely say she has proved she has no scruples and when she wants something, nothing, absolutely nothing stands in her way. I don’t see Mike Stone as a victim, he went into that relationship with his eyes wide open and enjoyed a lot of the trappings he had with being with Priscilla. His pregnant wife and child were the victims. Both he and Priscilla wanted different things in the end. I think Elvis cried more over the loss of Lisa-Marie more than anything else. Priscilla, he could live without, Lisa-Marie was a different story. Sorry yet again it's so long. Team Elvis.

Mike Stone, I too believe is basically a decent character, but this timehe was overwhelmed by whatever he felt was so awesome about p. He won't admit to having been weak.
Everything would be so much easier if people admitted the truth instead of fabricating things all their lives!
I scanned through his book by the way, which, sorry to say, was a little boring. It left me with the impression he was torn between declarations of love and adoration for p, and upset about the manipulation he was exposed to. I felt he would have wanted to say more 🙋🏻

Priscilla is never going to bring up Mike’s name. She’s not gonna make money off of it. I’m I’m being honest she doesn’t bring up anybody’s name unless she’s gonna make money off of it and that would only be Elvis so you said Mike was wondering, why don’t she bring up my name his name? Why would she? He’s not Elvis? She’s not gonna make money off of bringing up Mike’s name. Lol I mean it’s common sense you would think he would think that he would know that by now lol
