The Congress Working Committee (CWC) has unanimously passed a resolution urging Rahul Gandhi to assume the role of Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, according to senior party leader KC Venugopal. Speaking at a press conference on Saturday, Venugopal, the party's general secretary in charge of the organization, stated, "The CWC unanimously requested Rahul Gandhi to take up the position of Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha... Rahul ji is the best person to lead this campaign inside the Parliament."
