Thanks for putting this together, I took a bunch of notes from your video! I’m looking to stream from a similar setup, except I’m using Macbook Pro with the M3 chip. I’m hoping that the laptop is powerful enough to make it work, but seeing as a I can run After Effects and other programs at the same time, I’m not too worried.

Hello, I am having a problem using this exact setup. The video shows up in OBS but I can't hear audio at all! The capture card shows up but no audio comes through and i don't understand what is the problem😭😭

Why not just plug the elgato into the deck and an hdmi and use obs and a tv? It captures in desktop mode and gamemode with this method. Seems like you went further then necessary

Hi can I ask a question with the controller. You said you were going to hold the steam deck. Does this mean you would need to put the hdmi into the device rather than entering it into the dock? Would it be compatible with a ps5 controller?

Hey great video. I have a Windows laptop and steam deck with capture card through dock. Unfortunately I don't have an extra monitor. Do you think I can just use OBS as my "gamescreen"? Will there ne noticeable delays and latency issues?
