Why in the World would someone so qualified with multiple degrees need an “intern” position that pays TWICE as much as a firefighter!?!?!?

Okay, I personally think that this man's compensation is not unreasonable. Obviously, the mayor needs to be truthful when asked about his staff, but that doesn't mean we should all cry foul. What is unreasonable, is that other experienced city attorneys aren't getting paid this much money. This guy has a law degree and a master's degree, so as long as he is doing substantive work, nothing wrong with him being paid $95, 000 per year. Houston needs to pay their city attorneys more, end of story.
