it's not really a g, after theygot rid of regular tungsten filament bulbs the old scale became irrelevant so they made a new scale that essentially just the most efficient end of the old scale stretched out.

it's a 2.5w bulb. at that point the efficient or inefficiency of an led bulb were talking fractions of a watt difference.

We've got that sort of bulb in our kitchen hanging lights, ours cost £15 each 😮😮😮😮😮
Can't eat at the breakfast bar they overhang either as I'm too tall 🤦

That's somewhat counter-intuitive - presumably a very long string of tiny LEDs implies little or no lossy electronics ... and low power LED lamps are often more efficient as well as longer-lived...
EDIT:- just spotted the "amber glass" bit ...
