The wholesomeness of the Go4 never really resonates with me, I just can't get over the fact that several entire groups (such as sorbs and kashubians) have been wiped off the map and other peoples (such as Czech or the Baltic peoples) have been permanently crippled and have become minorities within their own homelands, potentially never seeing true restoration.

Unfortunately it's not possible to run a state after giving free press, if your state committed worst atrocities to humanity ever. Soviets tried to do the same, they collapsed. Zollwerine is not possible not only economically it's also not possible politically.
