Good Dandori skills! Yeah, these challenges are tough ones. I mean, going through them blind is frustrating, but there are so many time-saving techniques that are easy to miss the first go. I had already beaten the main story when I unlocked this, so it made the White and Purple Onions kind of pointless. I just wish the cave didn't eat up a full day, otherwise, I would probably give them another go for Platinum.

I completed all the trials and got both onions. So now, I'm a pikmin 4 champion.

I gonna be typing on how I beat the second sage leaf trial here

I know no one asked and it’s not related but I don’t care

If you are interested then just so you know I attempted to be as optimal as possible because I didn’t have the pluck whistle(I only realised it’s existence past trial 7)

I was also going for all platinum so I’m doing this as venting

My path for the trial was immediately throw a red into the pine cone run along while throwing 4 into the jelly send oatchi at an icy bulborb charge the remaining 5 into the raw material and after oatchi comes back send him at the other icy dwarf bulborb then light up the fire pit and destroy the first straw/hay pack in front.

Past the first section I call the Pikmin on the pillar to be got on oatchi rushed through the ice gate threw the pine cone onto the fire pit and immediately throw another pine cone onto the icy dwarf bulborb and use a red to kill it then i rushed the cannon beatle larva with oatchi killed it rushed pikmin at the pile of raw material and rode back onto oatchi and ramming into the other 2 icy dwarf bulborbs then I separated with oatchi with oatchi in the giant hydro jelly room have him start plucking and switched to my captain got the 4 raw material behind the straw/hay pack+left 5 pikmin on the building site after that used the guiding feature to bring the captain near oatchi have oatchi kill the enemies as well as use the pine cone for the big jelly and left five reds to get the raw material

Past that I killed the blow hog idler’s alerted and used 6 of the pikmin to get the raw material then I just did the room after like normal as any other human being would(I’m not going to explain that one)and got everything I needed and got to the sage leaf

Ps:I didn’t know about the pluck whistle until sage leaf trial 7 so I’m angy and am telling you on what optimised crap I did for trial 2
