We grew up as a family of 8 and my mama made hamburger and beans about 3 times a month. It was a hug3 croud pleaser and I am 54 and I still cook it and my husband adores it (he did not grow up with it). When I fix it he loves pan fried potatoes with onions, cornbread and fresh tomatoes and cucumbers.

My mom always made this and I still do I call it cowboys beans I usually use baked beans and add brown sugar catch-up
