Very helpful! Reminds me of the CRJ, which, as you know, stands for "Canadian Reset Jet." Several times I hand to turn the entire airplane off and back on again (with passengers on board!) as part of approved fault reset procedures. This is much better!

The circuit breakers located on the overhead panel are those of systems that are still available in case of an electrical emergency configuration (powered by the elec emer gen via the RAT)

@A330 Driver its a really wanted request from me to do a flight from Bengaluru/Delhi to Paro

Well makes sense right most systems have 1 part on the overhead and 1 on the wall, redundancy

The CB placement on the A320s is actually very easy and logical: #1 systems are on the overhead panel whereas #2 (#3) systems are located on the back wall. And they're mostly put together in groups iaw ATA chapters. Even if you don't have the manual with you, you can almost always find the CB you need by guessing where to look.

The A330 is a million times worse, as its CBs are completely scattered across the E&E and randomly located, not ordered by groups or #1/#2 systems or anything. You just cannot find a CB without needing the manual (which is probably the intention behind it tbf).

I can’t wait to get my PC and get the Fenix.

I would Imagine backup supplies uses different cable loom and fuse panel for built in redundancy..

I have a question on landing performance calculation on the A319, 20, 21. Why is it that max reverse doesn’t impact the rollout calculation? Does the aircraft cut back in breaking automatically to save the brakes?

How can the ECAM warn you that the flight warnings computer is off, if the flight warning computer is off? This sounds like pre-helenistic Greek riddle, unsolved since 370 AD

Would you say that it basically can detect transients, if they last long enough to trip a warn ? Would it still make sense to observe that system and log the occurence ? What is the risk of just going and resetting the system ?

I know what you are going to do with after this video: Take this A319 to Paro. ;)

I guess it’s like any other computer. As IT would say, “have you turned it off and on again?” 😂 Also - as pilots do you need to know the position of every circuit breaker? (Example - for emergencies)

Just for fun!
