I've noticed that my devotion to God is my devotion to my own Being, my own Happiness, which is God/ourSelf. There really isn't two of us. Devotion is Love, our own/God's Being.

God doesn’t want our prayers and devotions because He “needs” it, it’s because WE NEED IT. It the same reason a mother accepts her child’s picked dandelions and puts them in a vase. The only joy she gets from those is from seeing the child’s love. Happiness is a fleeting emotion that comes and goes, Faith can outlasts all emotion.

Coming from a Christian perspective I’m not sure that I agree with the statement in the video. The first commandment is to love the Lord thy God, God with all thine heart, and with all thine soul and with all thine mind. If you can do that, then, I think you’re undoubtedly just living in the present moment and enjoying God and His play. It is also said that we are to love thy neighbor as thy self. Some would say because thine neighbor IS yourself. Still, I think that the statement is misleading.

That’s all a parent ever wants for their child but it sure is nice when they seek you love you need you there’s nothing in the world more glorious and see your child supremely happy, and part of the reason for that is that you are there you’re right as a parent as long as your child is happy that’s what matters most and you would want that for them whether you were there or not and I witnessed your child’s love for you reciprocated and your love for them. It’s a wonderful thing ❤
