Things I HATE About The Hamptons!!

The most insane surprise gets delivered in my backyard followed by a very embarrassing experience at one of my favorite stores to buy #chickensalad.

Oh, B! As someone who grew up spending summers with her cousins in the Hamptons, my cousin once told me he got reprimanded at his job for noticing a celebrity. He was then told that the 'locals' shouldn't make a big deal as it could make 'them' uncomfortable. My family laughed their asses off about it 😂😂😂

This is cringe in the store. Umm maybe employees were working and really not allowed to make a public fuss over celebs so that they dont scare them from coming

I don't get it. I live on the North Fork, so maybe it's different. The employees could have been slammed because they were busy and getting product out, OR maybe they were being respectful by not fawning over you just because you're a celeb because they get a lot of celebs that appreciate NOT being noticed. I was in Riverhead TJMAXX when you were there and gave you space. Things I hate about the Hamptons: Narcissism.

I caught the energy as soon as you, reached the front door of that farmer's shop. Good on you for calling attention to it and recognizing what the vibe was! The store has customers' because of other customers! Make it make sense! The farmer's market doesn't know business/free advertising if it hits them in the face! On to the next grateful shop!

Stay humble bb and don’t be embarrassed when people know nothing about your existence. Maybe have one of your many assistants to make an appointment with them so you could actually care about their business and the way they operate. Ambushing and expecting “attention” gives desperado.

You provide nothing but, hurting their business so…maybe try to be less “it’s about me” and more about how to help their brand because that is what you are known for…?

Bethenny, I worked at a school where celebrities children attended, and when their parents came to that school, all employees were told not to speak to them, or make any kind of fuss. Maybe that's what happened here. If I had seen you, me being your biggest fan, I would of hugged you, and spoke to you all day, even if it meant I lost my job over it😂❤

See I thought the whole Chanel issue was Bethenny trying to get THEM to treat all people with customer dignity, irregardless of their wealth, social class, or appearance. But what is apparent now, from this interaction in the Hamptons, is that Bethenny wants Chanel to treat HER with unqualified customer dignity regardless of what SHE'S wearing or how SHE looks that day. Now I understand. And all that became clear from this interaction at the Hamptons. There's just a lot more than ego or vanity going on here, which we all have, and she should enjoy her success. That's why we watch, to see the wealthy enjoy their wealth but the self-centeredness in this I do not like. It's never apparent when she's with her beautiful and amazing daughter. But listen the wealthy have problems too, so maybe hash it over with the shrink. We all love you and want you around. Keep going strong. Just make sure you're not seeing a psychiatrist, an actual shrink is a psychologist. A psychiatrist is just a pharmacist from the neck up.

If you ever get to AL or TX, you have to try Chicken Salad Chick. A woman started the business and each of the chicken salad varieties are named after her friends. The BEST chicken salad ever. So many to choose from.
