Traxxas Xmaxx 8s - Calibrating the Controller with the ESC

Not sure what happened but one day we were out ripping around the Xmaxx and it decided it was Opposite Day so when we would pull the throttle for forward it went in reverse and then when we pushed the throttle for reverse is went forward. In a way I'm glad it happened because I did a little research on how to solve this problem and it turns out all the needed to be done was the controller had to be recalibrated with the ESC. So I thought I would make a quick tutorial video on how to do that. Thanks for watching and I'm working on getting material to do reviews along with a giveaway of everything I review. I had the same thing happen except it reversed the steering. Do you know the process to fix the steering?

Good video. Btw, if you have an XL5 ESC, the process is backwards; brake first, then throttle.

Simular thing happend to me yesterday! Didn’t do nothing, suddenly throttle is reverse, reverse does nothing! Helpfull vid 👍 Thanks!

Wait Wait Wait....So mine has been calibrated wrong from the factory?? When I push my trigger forward it goes forward. When I pull it back it goes in reverse. I have a Jato 3.3 and just like the previous RC car I had, pulling the trigger backwards they go forward and pushing the trigger forward it brakes.
So I thought the Xmaxx 8s was just built this way, which confuses the Hell out of me because I'm so used to pulling the trigger back and it going forward. I drive both the Xmaxx and the Jato and it can get confusing as Hell being that they are set up differently.
