Nice video man, the black bird is a pretty interesting piece of background lore and mythology surrounding the disaster. Their is a similar creature in Slavic mythology to it called the Firebird. That works in similar ways as an omen or foreshadowing of disaster. It was probably the inspiration for the legend itself since it is featured in some east Slavic myths and fairy tales. I have actually been working on a story of my own loosely based off of this myth but in a different setting from the Stalker universe or ancient Slavia.
