A LEGEND is born - Dan Carter’s iconic debut

Once in a generation, a special talent comes along, destined to become a legend in the rugby world. Dan Carter began his World Cup story in 2003 and went on to become a two time winner of the tournament. In this video we look at Carter’s World Cup career from a pool game against Italy in 2003 to the World Cup Final against Australia in 2015.

I think because he felt like he didn’t deserve a World Cup winners medal in 2011 because of the injury,

To get one in 2015 and that drop goal he scored in the final (as well as the conversion he puts over with the right boot) so that 2015 World Cup final is his finest moment in my opinion.

Don't think there was a weakness in his game. More than that, almost everything you could have was a strength of his. The most complete back I've ever seen. Pace, footwork, pass selection and accuracy, strength, temperament, kicking from hand, deadball - I wonder who else in the history of the game had it all?
