🐧 HOW TO GET THE SIZE OF A DIRECTORY ON LINUX COMMAND LINE 🐧

Linux Commands:

du -sh folderName

du -sh *

du -shc *

-s = summary ( don't include all files in folders, just show folder total )

-h = human readable ( make it show megabytes, gigabytes etc instead of just bytes )

-c = count total ( displays a total count size of all files and folders )
