Given what David Gaider has said about disagreement with the marketing team on trailers back in the Origins days, I’m not surprised current EA/Bioware would look at the two trailers and decide to lead with the Fortnite-Suicide Squad one. This trailer plus the gameplay demo gives me confidence that the theming will at least be in line with previous titles.

I don’t mind the more cartoony aesthetic but what I do mind is the lack of quality in animations. It just seems a lot of those are very rough, especially for dialogue.

I think swapping out the character will probably happen in a lot of different marketing materials, because their whole vibe in interviews has been making you feel like you are Rook, how customizable it is, etc.

I think it will be pretty polished honestly. Anthem and Andromeda ended up being rushed out the door. This game, on the other hand, has been given all the time the developers needed and they seem confident in it.

It actually looks stylishly semi-consistent with Inquisition. Which is, considering DA 1-3 each don’t look like they’re supposed to be set in the same world at all.

Everything seems to be good, especially them picking up Scout Harding's story arc from inquisition made me hopeful.
Only the facial animations still give off some uncanny valley vibes.
