Lol, i remember when i was comemorating the new year thingie with my family, then my mom made a large amount of food and my cade went insane. Like he used catnip (and did not), he started to jump on the table to rob and eat the food, we tried to lock in on the room or in the bathroom but he started to destroy our doors and meow agressively, then we just gave up and lent a plate of the food for him, when locking him in the door. Scary cat, but he was nice to all of us except when it came for food.

No matter how many times we said no, tried to put him away or close the doors, he would come jumping to eat our food. Sadly, my mom gave him to my aunt and i only spent 2 months with him, but it was a funny experience.

I do this with my cats....it does work. Also staring them dead in the eye without blinking...works the same

I have 3 cats. When I do this, they look at me as if I have 2 heads and then continue to eat my food / drink my water 🤷‍♀️ Quenlin (I think that’s her name), I believe is a first time cat owner. She’ll eventually learn her place 😉🤣🤣
