I’m open to change, but an unbalanced schedule sounds wonky as hell. Like “yea you qualified, but we had to play real away, and you only played Bayern at home…” and so on. I just feel like it’s gonna give us maybe a couple more exciting games but is just gonna be so annoying debating strength of schedule and whether or not teams actually deserved to go thru

The same is happening for Champions League in Asia. Only top 24 teams from Asia can play in Champions League Elite. The other Asian countries whose ranking are above 24 have to play in second and third tier competitions
