Have you used any A.I. vocalist tools? If so, how?

This is why fully improvised music is going to become more important than ever

I went down this Rabbit Hole a few years back when I was checking out Lyrebird. I began leaning toward VOCALOID. This looks like another alternative worthy of checking out. I have my reasons for checking this out. None of which are meant to replace Human talent, rather better communicate my ideas to achieve the finished product! 😉

I agree, just started using it in April and find it has utility and versatility in mixing a song in a way you couldn't a few years ago. Using it to enhance your own vocal for background harmonies instead of stacking or trying to teach another singer how you want it. I also write songs that aren't meant for my voice, so I can use this to get it to sound similar to what I want in order to find the ideal singer more effectively. And getting some instruments in the track that you can't play but will now work with a hum or a guitar line is cool, can possibly find some inventive sounds, too. I'm not on board with out and out creating a complete song using AI, just telling it your lyrics or a title only and having it write something, maybe a lyricist that can't play instruments can do that.

A singing violin or saxophone is very cool… what is the output resolution, can it do 96k 32 bit?

I thought of the song Afternoon Delite when you said this can be used to do multiple background vocals in different timbres, and then The Eagles ect. This sounds very cool to me. I'm not a very good singer but this could help me translate some of my songs to the people I know who are. I write & record a lot of stuff but it usually has no vocals. I'll check this out. I think this might help me get some ideas across a lot better. Cheers Y/All.

Came into this not expecting to be sold at all. But wow. The stacked vocal thing is a legitimate issue. I love stacking vocals, but my tone is so thick that it can get crowded. So interested to look into it

On the bright side, all this technology could be used as tools to create some of the GREATEST music ever.

Synthesizer V right in the DAW, man. The newer voice packs have a dozen curves to sculpt the performance - breathiness, power, falsetto, etc... separate aspiration tracks. For composer-producers with piano roll skills I think the results blow everything else away.

I can`t wait to go to a concert and see a guy (a famous guy) push "THE" button!

Great vid Justin. I am currently trying the demo version of the SonarWorks version and I'm not impressed by the terrible key detection. I've copied one of my vocal tracks (me singing) and put the AI on that track. Then added a female vocal. The plan was to use the AI girl for backing vocals. But dear God in heaven the key was appalling. The AI plug in has a transpose knob but it really just made things worse and the vocal started heading towards chip monks world tour. I might try this Audimee though. it's almost St Patrick's day here in Ireland so y'all a great weekend.

I own and use Synthesizer V for my vocalist needs (all original songs). I probably will never use AI vocalists in my own songs, for this reason (or reasons):

If I use a famous dead celebrity's voice in my original song, the copyright and legal complications aside, anyone who hears my song will associate it with that celebrity. My ego will not allow that - a dead singer getting all my press for my original music. lol

I may experiment with Ian Curtis (if I can find one) or Bob Marley for grins and giggles, but I don't think I'll ever put anything of mine out with those voices.

the ace studio ai looks pretty cool. you can change pitch like you do in melodyne. change language to chinese, japanese ect. make midi notes then type words in the blocks, or sing and change voice like audimee. i'm not sure wich one i want to try.

For demo purposes i can get behind it. For released music, not so much. We have to, as a species, preserve what makes us human. We are not machines, yet.

Justin, I can legally use the royalty AI models on my music productions correct? Because these AI models are made from people who agreed to work with Audimee? Correct?

Quite convincing voices. They still seem to lack some texture of real singing voices and sound too smooth / lifeless to me. I’ve heard an edm song recently with AI female singing that was very catchy, and a quite convincing voice, although was drenched in reverb probably to cover up the AI timbre

Funny how whenever I try to find an AI singer, computer says no.

I don't seen want a famous voice. I just wanna specify the key, specify the bpm and specify the relevant chords and notes.

Until then, it's still science fiction and YT Content creators clickbaiting.

Notice when he says "here is the sax" and nothing comes out.
