Apologies for all the wind noise and terrible editing! And all the incorrect information... Watch at your own risk of boredom and possible loss of sanity.

The Slightly Shambolic Shuffles are back! This time we are at the 2022 Knebworth Classic Motor Show at Knebworth House near Stevenage, and it gets rather Shambolic rather quickly. These are the Slightly Shambolic Shuffles after all...

In this first part, we fail to get round the many, many Ford Granadas, Scorpios and Consuls on the stand, get lots of information wrong, and clumsily speak about two very famous cars used in the old Sweeney TV series and generally ramble on about very little of any importance at all. Nothing untoward, then!

As an independent vehicle consultant, I take potential buyers through the whole car buying process from choosing a make and model to a vehicle handover and road tax. In addition to information on this service, I also have a selection of written and video reviews of cars that I have owned, hired, borrowed or have somehow come into my possession. Please use the Contact Me page on my website to get in touch, visit my Facebook page for latest updates and share this video if you like it! Thank you for watching.

I think the Granada Scorpio with the Mondeo ST style bodykit is actually sporting a RS Bodykit I think.

Nice to see the actually cars from the Sweeney and a nice wee surprise for the 50th anniversary of the Granada.

Another excellent shuffle sir.

Fantastic video! The stretched Green Granada saloon is a Coleman Milne Minster

Always liked the Mk1s particularly the rear lights, the mk2s were really an aspirational car in the early 80s particularly the Ghia's were something very special but looking at them now they look comparativly small next to a modern bloated car

Who are you? We’re the Sweeney, son, and we haven’t had any dinner.

NHK 295M looks outstanding!

31:20. Whilst VHK491S isn't, NHK295M really is the original Consul GT from The Sweeney. The real deal.

If you're a nine year girl this is the ultimate boring day out.
Edit: starts with a funny man sitting on top of a car. Girl (thinks) yeah that was OK. Can we go home now?

A shame that its mostly ghia granada models that survive. I may sound a bit boring, but I do prefer a lower or mid level trim on 1980s cars.

Joseph that's so enjoyable to see nice Granada's, I used to come to Knebworth every year but now I'm unable to come & thanks to you you've brought it to those who can't come 👍

Hello sir. My dear old Grandad had a Mk 2 Granada which he traded in to get a Sierra Sapphire 2.9 in the day. Fond memories of those cars.

Great video, I wish I could have made it with my 1979 Ford Granada 3.0 GL Auto, (South African Import, hence the Essex V6). Maybe next year, would love to show it, still has some issues I am sorting, normal Classic Car enthusiast hold-ups, I loved the dark-coloured T Reg 2.3 L Auto and the White Consul 2.5 L is delicious. Funny how the less opulent models somehow have a bit more desirability, probably because most have been disappeared

Great to see so many Granadas and Consuls ( my parents owned a 1976 2000 L in diamond white with a black vinyl roof between 1980 and 1985 when I was young). I don't believe that leather was available on Granadas until the mark 2.

Another car that celebrates it's 50th anniversary this year is a favourite of mine - the Vauxhall VX series (Victor/Ventora/ VX4/90). Hope to see a few of those. 😃

Well done Joseph, those Granadas have pushed me over the edge. I’m obsessed by Granadas (too much Sweeney viewing as as kid). NHK295M speeding down Colet Gardens in Hammersmith is etched up into my memory … surely you can persuade the owners to let you review them??

A huge Salute to Ford of Great Britain and Ford of Germany.
A friend of my Dad's bought a dark green Consul new in 1973 with a black vinyl interior and I remember thinking that it was an American car because it was enormous.
The Girl Owner Mk1 Ghia with the hubcaps and the brushed velour was gorgeous.
The Mk2 was a very special car that was inhanced even more by the facelift. A local taxi firm used 2 litre Ls and GLs and they were amazing for passengers, drivers and operators.
The estates were in a class of their own. Huge, strong, tough and practical.
Awesome video. Possibly a Masterpiece, Sir.

I believe the injection engined mark 2 Granada’s had the metric TRX alloys whereas the carburettor engined cars had the imperial alloys.

The facelift mark 2 granada’s have elongated bumper end trims as well as the updated door mirrors and radiator grills which you mentioned

I’m a huge mk2 Granada fan, having grown up with them (my Dad had 4 between 78 & 95) & I recently commented to you how overlooked they seem to be in the classic car world. Well this has went some way to giving them the recognition they deserve. Excellent video that has rekindled some great memories. Thank you

It's really wonderful to see so many well maintained, and clearly cherished, Ford Granadas. Another top shuffle, thank you sir!
