◉ About Me:
I am a dog trainer and I coach dog owners. I help you to train your dog(s) or puppy without the use of treats, aversive tools like shock collars, prong collars, force, and Domination. I teach and show you how to use "play & praise" as a reward to use to train your dog.

I love my dogs. I kept my rescued teenager dog close to me for 3 months. He is so sweet. I think it helped create a strong bond. Great tips!

I am seriously considering getting a dog. I watched this with interest. Everything made sense. when I bring the dog home, I will go to the backyard first. How do I manage the "one room at a time" suggestion when I live in a very small house, about 1000 square feet?

The dog I am adopting is 6 years old. She had a puppy and she was living with 2 other dogs. She is a private adoption from a family, so not a rescue. She has spend 5 days with me for a few hours each and 2 of those days she had accidents in the house. How often should I go out with her so she remembers to hold till it is time to go to the bathroom outside. I am very nervous and excited. I am adopting her on Sunday. She is a Yorkie and very sweet, but it was 30 years ago when I've owned a dog, so will be a new experience for me.

Hi, I've just adopted a 5 month old puppy and she seems to have trauma from the pull of a leash. I tried to have her walk around with me in the yard, but when she went a bit too far and the leash pulled, she started freaking out. I'm not sure how to get her to adapt to the leash. Should i be holding on to the leash at all times? Should the leash be kept on her even when she's on her own? I'm not sure how to get her exercised when she is so timid and all she does is hide. Should I just let her explore the yard on her own? Please any help will be appreciated!
