I order plants in December, which only arrive in September. You could do a pre order which then allows you numbers and set delivery dates. Cheaper for you.

fine tuning.

You should put the seeds in paper towel, wet them with warm water and put them in a zip lock bag. Then put all the bags in airing cubard to see how many germanate.

Tony I saw your set up and don’t think you need a forced air heater. Just heat mats and cover your propagation chambers with blankets.

Thank you for the advice. I had been planning on propagating some of my own plants and selling them on Etsy or Ebay but then learned about Patents. What a disappointment. You have encouraged me to plant everything from seed. Thank you!

Hi Tony, Have you thought of using solar Panels and then use the energy from that for the grow lights cheaper in long run, instead of using your electricity.

Thank you for this video. I have often thought of selling my excess produce online. Your sums didn’t seem to include the cost the media or pots, far less your own time and transport going to the PO. We cannot win this battle against the big growers unless we sell a product they don’t grow.
It’s such a shame that real growers strive to get a market share against bug business.

In short….no. I have been in a commercial greenhouse business for years. A good business man also. Way too much work for the return. Many people don’t have houses or any area for planting. Things have changed dramatically over the last few decades. Even roadside stands are suffering. As we are becoming a cashless society, this causes a problem also. Grow products for yourself. Everyone just goes to the grocery store….when prices really go bad, let them starve. Yes I am bitter, the whole thing is a waste of time.

I can't see what type of lights you have but leds are much cheaper to run.
