Probably one the most under appreciated musical sequences that he ever performed probably due to the dip in his film popularity at the time. IMHO if had toured at the time this could have been a major as opposed to minor hit but with Elvis it was often if this if that.

The sixties Mark's the beginning of the modern era. The clothes and hairstyle has become modern. Long flowing straight hair and short skirts started to appear in the sixties. It is still in fashion even today.

Great reaction Dani, brilliant song I think, Elvis must have liked it to put it in the 68 special so just goes to show he did like some of his movie songs. Speedway is not one of my favourite movies but can we just take a moment to appreciate how unbelievable he looks! There's something about Elvis from 67 to 70, he just looks even more beautiful that ever!! SWOON ❤

Such a good vocal. What blows me away is how much work everyone is doing, the band, the vocalists, dancers, etc. Elvis is not doing anything. He's just being Elvis. Imagine getting paid for being you. OK, I'm being a little flippant. But you get my point.

The big problem with Elvis films is he said he didnt like them too much.. but the problem is he didnt live long enough. I used to work on a ship when I was 25 i hated it, however when I now at 55 look back its with fond memories. Elvis didnt have the time to do that later in life and come on making movies, money and fame with gorgeous girls ..Im sure he would have looked back and said well that was a great time but sadly he couldnt and Im sure he didnt like them at the timebut what a way to earn a living.

Another awesome reaction!! This another one of my favorites. Easily the best song from the 1968 classic Speedway. Even though it was filmed in 1967 it was released in 1968. Interesting fun fact, there were tabloids during the filming claiming that Nancy was trying to steal Elvis from Priscilla. Which was not the case. In fact Nancy threw a baby shower for Priscilla. How cool.

It's wonderful to see you reacting to Elvis again. I know that not all his movie material received the best of reviews, but there are a lot of great songs that came out of this era as well. This is a really neat bluesy number. Elvis - of course, looks and sounds great. Another solid song to check out from one of his last movies is "Clean Up Your Own Backyard" from "The Trouble With Girls" from 1969. So Elvis has that lean chiseled look he has from the Comeback Special and it's a really spiffy tune with great lyrics.

Been involved with 3 movies and funded 2. Drive me nuts to be paying for and spending time do 20 retakes to deliver a line properly even from experienced actors. Same with vocalists who need 20 studio attempts to sing a 10 word lyric. Mid pitch, forget lines and autotune corrections to have a average artist land a passable recording . Then hear people say wow they have perfect pitch !!! If they knew . Allie sings live and delivers almost every song. Love that. Talented !!!!

The actual soundtrack, sounds better than the film version. Hasn't got all those trumpets!
