I prefer visual studio code. It does all the things you mentioned, but it's free, light weight, and allows you to customize to your liking. It also scales as #1 used IDE by far way over any other on the stack overflow popularity charts for "Integrated development environment"(hint use ctrl+f)

Nothing wrong with recommending a code editor other than VS Code. I use it exclusively myself, but there is clearly a market for alternatives such as Webstorm which (I believe) is purpose-made for Javascript and Typescript devs and there are a ton of people who find great value in that level of specificity in a product that further improves their productivity out the box without needing to do hunt for plugins and setting up your development environment (que npm).

People saying VSCode. But I don't like the fact that you have to install 15 plugins before you even write a line of code. That's why I like VS 2022 more though I don't use it anymore (I use Sublime since I'm on Linux).
